Bailuzhou Park, Nanjing.

Bailuzhou Park is located on the north side of Wuding Gate, Qinhuai District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, in the southeast corner of Nanjing City. It is adjacent to Changle Road in the south, Xiaoshibajie Street in the north, the Ming City Wall in the east, Wuding Gate, and Pingjiangfu Road in the west. Bailuzhou Park covers a total area of 229.41 mu, with a water area of 57.35 mu. In 1929, it was officially built as Bailuzhou Park. In the Ming Dynasty, Bailuzhou Park was the private garden of Xu Da, a founding hero, so it was also called Xu Taifu Garden and Xu Zhongshan Garden. The owners of the garden in successive dynasties and many literati and scholars such as Wang Shizhen and Wu Cheng'en once gathered here for poetry and wine. Bailuzhou Park is home to scenic spots such as Bridge View, Bailu Tower, Bailu Island, Jiufeng Temple, Xinyuan Building, Yanyu Pavilion, Yijiantang, Bailu Tower, and Water Street. It is a cultural park with a main style of Chinese natural landscape gardens. In December 2023, Bailuzhou Park was announced by the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Gardens and Greening as the "First Batch of Parks with Historical Value in Nanjing."
