Unpopular gem in Nanjing 🪷

The Grand Baoen Temple Heritage & Scenic Area is located on the south bank of Qinghai river near Zhonghua gate in Nanjing. The museum depicts the birth of buddhism as a religion in China & the history of the temple which stands as a giant structure made of porcelain. I’m not a big fan of museums, but this one was truly mind blowing with relics, carvings, paintings & and immersive art exhibition. There are few restaurants inside with a Costa coffee & ice cream vendors. At the exit, grab some artsy souvenirs from the massive gift shop. The entrance ticket was 90¥, pricey but worth it 👌🏼 #urbanexplorer #buddhism #nanjing
