Nov 2022 The abbot of this temple, named "Luang Pho Daeng", kindly told about this sandstone city that if this place is completed, it will be called Singhanakorn Kingdom. It was built because the abbot in a past life promised King Jayavarman VII that he would build it as an offering. In the future, this place will be as great as any other place, second only to Angkor Thom Temple. All religious buildings and structures are made of sandstone, newly built, the most magnificent I have ever seen. Even though the buildings are not yet complete, they are still spectacular. In some angles, it looks like India. Everything is made of millions of tons of sandstone transported from Siang Sang District and cut and carved by local craftsmen. But the craftsmanship is very good, the work is very detailed. One of the outstanding things about this place is the Buddha statue carved from a large sandstone. From the many statues in the temple that looks like a beautiful ancient castle, I intended to pay my respects and admire their beauty. The temple area is about 200 rai, which is very wide, but the buildings are scattered almost all over the area. The abbot said that if it is to be completely finished, it will take 3 generations to build. Currently, the place is not officially open for visits. If anyone wants to come and see, you must ask for permission from the temple first before you can take pictures or see the magnificent view inside this temple.
