A Thousand-Year-Old Hidden Temple in Downtown Nanchang

It turns out that this historic temple hidden in the bustling city is Wenquan Temple, one of the oldest and largest temples in Jiangxi Province, with a history of over 1,300 years. Stepping inside, you are greeted by lush trees, pavilions, towers, and small bridges over flowing water, as if you were in a Suzhou garden—quiet and elegant. The enshrined Bodhisattvas are exquisite and solemn, located in different rooms. If you arrive early, you can also enjoy the beautiful peacocks.
