Meiling Plum Blossom Viewing - White Plum Blossoms

White plum blossoms are the most common. The thin branches stand against the wind and snow, supporting the hope of winter. The delicate flowers emit a faint fragrance. From a distance, they look like stars in the sky. There is a stele next to the tree that reads: "White plum blossoms have four virtues: they are rare, not dense; old, not tender; thin, not fat; and budding, not blooming." No wonder this lonely flower blooms in the cold winter, unlike the peach and apricot blossoms.
