One of the few good hotels in Nanchang!

There don't seem to be many chain hotels in Nanchang, and there aren't many Marriott or Hilton hotels to choose from. I chose this Sheraton, and the price is reasonable for a big city, especially with the flash sale and Q3. The location is great, right above the subway station, so it's convenient to get anywhere. The surrounding area looks like a CBD, and you can see Tengwang Pavilion from the lounge. I asked in advance if I could get an upgrade to a suite, and I ended up with a two-bedroom suite. The style is quite old, like a government official's house, but it's big, 145 square meters, with a living room, two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and four TVs. Although it's old, it has a lot of facilities, including a Harman Kardon sound system in the living room, which is great for listening to music, a large fridge, a washing machine, and a foot massager, which is very thoughtful for us tourists who walk 20,000 steps a day. The breakfast doesn't have many options, but there are clay pot dishes and Nanchang rice noodles, which I had for breakfast both days. I didn't have dinner at the lounge for two days, as I wanted to go out and find some spicy stir-fried dishes.
