This place fulfills all my fantasies about islands! Make sure to visit during the Spring Festival holiday! 🌊 Windmills, lighthouses, waves, sunsets... The stunning scenery of South Australia Island is enchanting, like stepping into a fairytale world. 🚗 Convenient transportation: Visitors from other regions can first travel to Shantou and then take a high-speed train, plane, drive, or bus to the island. 🏨 Accommodation on the island: South Australia Island is quite large with numerous attractions. It's recommended to stay overnight to fully enjoy the beauty at a leisurely pace. Alternatively, you can opt for a day trip, like I did, and return to Shantou city after exploring the island in one day. 🚌 Getting around the island: You can drive, rent a car, take a bus, rent an electric scooter, or hire a carpool service. All options are affordable and convenient. Island tour route: Changshanwei Lighthouse - Qian'ao Bay Lighthouse - Zhannan Pavilion - South Australia Island Ecotourism Area - Sanchongya Lighthouse - Qing'ao Bay - Rainbow Sea - South Australia County Maritime Silk Road Square (perfect for watching the sunset) Travel tips: 🌤️ Weather and clothing: Check the weather forecast 3-5 days in advance. South Australia Island is breathtaking on sunny days, but avoid visiting during rainy weather. The seaside is windy, so bring a jacket and sunscreen. 🍱 Food recommendations: Stop by "Longbin Road" for lunch. This street has many restaurants and snack options. It's not recommended to eat seafood on the island as it's pricier than in the city. 🌅 Sunset time: Around 5:00-6:00 PM. The Maritime Silk Road Square area is an excellent spot to enjoy the sunset.
