It is located near the Bukhangang River, and my elementary school friend lives there, so we decided to make a date and go together. There is a Starbucks Reserve in the Bukhangang R branch nearby, and there is also a famous cafe called Laonsum, but it is a two-lane road, so there is a lot of traffic and parking on weekends. However, thanks to a local friend, I managed to park and enter Subica. The owner, who found out about my frequent afternoon teas through DMs on Instagram from the time of reservation, is nervous. "This is not a luxurious hotel, but a simple place, so you might be disappointed," he said, but from the moment you enter, elegant teacups, trays, and plates show off their elegance on the left. After greeting the owner, the table setting is in progress in the 3rd floor private room, and CCTV tells you where to wait. Go up the stairs to the 2nd floor, take the elevator to the 3rd floor, and wait for about 5 minutes. The manager on the 3rd floor guides you to your seat. The table is plated more beautifully than any other hotel, with two two-tiered trays, teapots, dishes, and cutlery sets. In addition, the blue Bukhangang River view unfolds before your eyes. I think the owner's tension was a tension that was filled with pride in showing how great this place is. Across from the table, there are limited edition plate sets and teapots by brand that are more diverse than those on the 1st floor and look like they're at least 100 years old. I wondered how much all this cost. The Wedgewood Florentine Turquoise line set here is also luxurious beyond Noritake, and it was a place with a considerable amount of tableware that would make you envious of a 5-star hotel. In addition, the taste of the fermented and aged coffee unique to this place and the various brands of black tea lines~! The elegant manager who is also a tea sommelier also provides kind explanations. Afternoon tea has a strict list of 6 kinds of teas, including Marco Polo from Mariage Frères and Dazzling from Fortnum & Mason. Two cups of coffee and tea are provided. Croissant sandwiches are set to be shared in two halves. The bread is delicious and the sauce is good. Salad is also served. There are two kinds of BLT and fig base, and the taste is better than expected, so it is delicious. Sweets include two kinds of scones, canelés, cream baumkuchen, and macarons, set for one person on the lower plate. The creams of the macarons are composed differently. On the top, one side is a pumpkin tart, and on the other side is a cream puff tower. The bakery items are great. They are all delicious. The sweets of the afternoon tea are provided by a bakery, and some, such as croissants, seem to be made in the store.
