Majesty in Steel: Exploring the Chinggis Khan Statue Complex

Chinggis Khan statue complex has a towering equestrian statue on top and also a museum inside. Getting There - I hired a local guide/ driver to go there, it is about 50km from Ulaanbaatar. Highlights - 1. Equestrian statue of Chinggis Khan This statue is 40m tall made out of steel, and is the tallest equestrian statue in the world. 2. Underground Museum This was a very interesting museum to learn about Mongolian history and culture, such as the different leaders of Mongol empire and where they conquered. 3. Top of the complex observation deck Go all the way up to the too to take a close up photo with the statue, and also get a panoramic view of the vast grasslands around the complex. Simply breathtaking! 4.
