Following in the footsteps of Father Than Klai Wajasit

#Wat Suan Khan Wat Suan Khan is a temple of the people. It was originally located at Wat Rat Bamrung. However, due to frequent flooding during the rainy season, the temple was moved to the north of Khlong Kut Duan. A new temple was built in the forest by devotees who gave it to the temple and unanimously named it Wat Suan Khan. Father Than Klai used to be the abbot here for 65 years. He was a famous monk of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and was honored and called the "Angel of Nakhon Si Thammarat". Because there were many devotees, there was a story that whatever he said would come true. Therefore, the villagers often went to ask for blessings from him. At Wat Suan Khan, there is a museum of Father Than Klai's ashes and Father Than Klai's hut. You can come and pay your respects. Father Than Klai's body is enshrined in a glass coffin. It is in the Phra That Noi Chedi of Wat Phra That Noi, which is the temple he built. If you are interested, you can go and pay your respects.
