Admire the beauty of Wat Phayap in Korat🙏🏻

Wat Phayap, the royal temple of the northwest of Korat, was built during the reign of King Narai the Great, at the same time as the city of Nakhon Ratchasima. Wat Phayap is located within the city walls, to the northwest of the city pillar, hence the name 'Wat Phayap'. Inside the temple, there is a statue of King Narai in a majestic standing pose enshrined in a Thai-style pavilion, and a Bodhi tree, whose shoots were brought from Bodh Gaya, India. The boundary stones are a pair of sema stones around the ordination hall as historical evidence. There is also a stalactite and stalagmite cave with an ancient sacred Buddha image of the city, which is over 300 years old, enshrined inside the cave for people to pay homage and admire the beauty inside the cave.🙏🏻
