We started our trip by going to Khun Dan Dam, Prakan Chon, which is about a 2-3 hour drive from Bangkok. However, since it was a festival season, there were a lot of people and cars. It is a homey restaurant with a nice atmosphere. My friends and I chose to sit at a table on a floating raft so we could eat and enjoy the view. All the staff were lovely. Even though it was hot, they still had smiles. The food tasted okay and the price was not too expensive. There were 6 of us and we ordered 7 dishes, plus drinks and desserts, which came to 300-400 baht per person. Because there were a lot of people on the way to Khun Dan Dam, we changed our plan to stop at the pier of Wat Khao Nang Buat instead. And it is a period when the water is shallow, you can swim, not scary, the water is cool and comfortable.
