Okinawa | An Izakaya You Can't Miss

This is a must-visit izakaya every time I come to Okinawa. One meal is not enough this time, so I plan to arrange two meals. After the plane landed, we planned to have our first meal at the Namake Ushi no Ginci Shintoshin branch, where I had eaten last time in Okinawa. My favorite sea urchin rice balls are no longer available and replaced with new ones, sad For the second meal, I planned to go to (P1) Miyazaki Hayao animation-style Merikino Ginji (Shintoshin branch). However, when I arrived at 17:40 today, the recommended shrimp sashimi and grilled prawns were all sold out! Key Points 1️⃣ Try the recommendation of the day. Although the fresh shrimps are sold out, the oysters of the day (P3) are JPY400/each. They are super fresh and sweet, a must-try. 2️⃣ My personal recommendation and obsession is the raw egg and sea urchin dip rice ball (P2), I really miss it. 3️⃣ I generally recommend the oysters on teppanyaki with sea urchin sauce (P4). 4️⃣ Must make a reservation, make a reservation by phone. I usually make reservations at the hotel where I will be staying, confirm the date, time, number of people, and even the time when I will finish eating. 5️⃣ The best time to take Miyazaki-style photos at the entrance is around 18:30, when the sky is about to get dark and the lights are on again.
