Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya, a great value hotel in Nagoya

#accommodationtrip I visited Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya for the first time in a while, and it was very comfortable, including the hospitality. It is also a good value for money, so I would recommend it not only to Nagoya travelers but also to locals who are working remotely or for vacations. The restaurant and bar were so relaxing that I ended up staying until the very end. Located in the center of the city, it is convenient to access major areas of Nagoya, such as Nagoya Station and Sakae area from the nearest subway station Fushimi Station. At the all-day dining restaurant "CRUST" on the first floor, you can enjoy an antipasto corner full of vegetables and desserts made by the pastry chef. The lunch buffet is a highlight, as you can enjoy everything from appetizers to desserts, including a live station where the chef prepares the food right in front of you. The rooms are compact, clean, bright, and easy to use, with high-quality beds that allow you to sleep well, a bathroom with a rain shower, and cushions made with "Arimatsu Shibori", a traditional Nagoya craft. Although it just opened in March 2022 and everything is new and clean, you can stay here quite reasonably, even though hotel prices have risen recently (when I checked a few days ago, it was 22,800 yen for two people per room. Prices vary). This price is really the best value for money for this cleanliness and hospitality. If it was in my hometown, I would like to stay there once a month, from check-in at 3pm to check-out! (Actually, my friend in Nagoya seems to do a staycation once a month lol. I'm jealous.) And now, for a limited time until August 31st, they are holding an afternoon tea in collaboration with Mary Quant. You can still enjoy a wonderful afternoon tea even after the collaboration period is over, so be sure to check it out.
