A trip to Aichi! A tourist spot: Atsuta Shrine

Atsuta Shrine is called "Atsuta-san" and is a shrine that has been revered since ancient times. It was founded in the 43rd year of Emperor Keikō (113). Just by walking along the quiet approach to the shrine towards the worship hall, you will be filled with the air that cleanses your body, and you will feel that it is a power spot. The main shrine building visible at the back of the worship hall is the main hall, where the enshrined deity, Atsuta-no-Okami, is enshrined. Atsuta-no-Okami is said to be Amaterasu Omikami, whose divine body is the Kusanagi Sword, one of the Three Sacred Treasures. Due to its long history, it has been carefully protected by the powerful people of the time, and it is quite interesting just to learn about its history. Letters from Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Tokugawa Ieyasu, and others will be a delight for history buffs. Well worth a visit.
