#hospitality 📍Tateba Tea House, Nagiso Walking the Nakasendo route from Magome-juku to Tsumago-juku is one of the best experiences in Japan. Along this scenic, historic trail, the Tateba Tea House is a perfect spot to take a break. The tea house has such a warm, traditional charm, and the man running it was incredibly kind and welcoming. Anyone walking this trail will love the refreshing tea and the peaceful atmosphere. The beautiful, more than 200-year-old house, with its traditional backdrop inside and out, really added to the experience. The gentleman in traditional clothing serving tea made everyone feel right at home. We loved this tea house and the entire Nakasendo adventure—it was a beautiful, memorable stop! ‼️The tea and snacks are free, but donations are welcome to keep this lovely tradition going. #japan #100waysoftravel #japantrip
