This is an absolute must-see. From the large torii gate at the entrance to the inner shrine, you'll see a carpet of autumn leaves and fallen leaves. As you walk toward the sacred grounds, you'll come across a vermilion-lacquered gate with a thatched roof. From here, a row of cedar trees over 400 years old stands. The scenery is majestic, and you can't help but feel a sense of power. It took about an hour to get here, as I was taking photos.
