Dachau Concentration Camp | Historical scars that can never be erased

Dachau concentration camp was the first concentration camp built by the Nazis. More than 1,000 concentration camps that followed were all built based on Dachau as a model. From this, we can see that the Nazis were indeed killing people in a "systematic and organized" manner at that time. Although Dakow was claimed to be a labor camp rather than an extermination camp (that is, a concentration camp that used poison gas to kill people en masse, the most famous of which was Auschwitz in Poland), it was still the place where more than 30,000 people died for various reasons, and many children under the age of 13 were sent to Auschwitz first because they were unable to work. You can imagine how many family members were forced to separate without even being able to say their last words. Jews were not the only people sent to concentration camps. Homosexuals, disabled people, mentally ill people, political radicals (which is ridiculous because the Nazis were more radical than anyone else), gypsies... were among the people who were imprisoned in concentration camps, and there was a high possibility that you and I would be imprisoned as well. Before the concentration camps were built, the Nazis had already put all the physically and mentally disabled people in hospitals for euthanasia. This secret killing of people was not new. I really feel horrible. In Dachau you can also see how the Nazis planned systematic killings. Although they did not actually use the gas chambers in the Dachau concentration camp, the entire organization already existed. That whole killing factory is unbelievable First room: take off your clothes and pants Second room: Gas chamber with fake showerhead The third room: where the bodies are kept The fourth room: multi-channel smokestack incinerator The fifth room: the bones Each large square was a former prison cell (or you could call it a dormitory). The beds inside could not accommodate so many people. Maybe four people had to share one bed, and more than a hundred people had to share one toilet. There was no cleaning system, so you can imagine how bad the environment was at that time. I can't imagine how people felt at that time. One has to be so desperate to look at the blue sky and the grass without any emotion, without being able to have any emotion. #Munich, Germany #Overseas Travel

Very cool place to explore. It’s not as ‘grand’ as for example, the palace of Versailles, but it sure has its charm and some very interesting stories to tell. The self guided tour is well organised so you get to see everything and learn via the free audio guides provided. The price is acceptable and you can easily spend a whole afternoon in this old Royal residence.#境外遊 #awesomepic #familytravel
