Tad Ton National Park

Tad Ton National Park is located in Mueang Chaiyaphum District, north of Chaiyaphum Province. Its geological features consist of limestone and shale. In particular, Tad Ton Waterfall consists of a large and beautiful stone terrace. The general area is mostly covered with dry evergreen forest and dry dipterocarp forest. It covers an area of ​​approximately 135,737.50 rai or 217.18 square kilometers. In 1970, the Chaiyaphum Provincial Forestry Office considered that Tad Ton Waterfall, which is in Phu Laen Kha National Reserve Forest, Na Fai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chaiyaphum Province, is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Northeast. It consists of a large stone terrace and water flowing all year round. It is suitable to be established as a forest park. Therefore, it was proposed to the Royal Forest Department to consider the matter, which the Royal Forest Department agreed with the province's proposal to establish "Tad Ton Waterfall Forest Park". It was officially opened on May 28, 1975, under the supervision of the Chaiyaphum Provincial Forestry Office. #National park worth visiting
