Food and water. Climbing Mount Tai is particularly physically demanding, although there are some stalls selling food and water at intervals, the prices are very expensive, so if your physical strength allows, try to bring your own food and water up the mountain. Temperature. There is a big temperature difference between the foot and the summit of Mount Tai, wearing a coat at the foot and a cotton-padded jacket at the summit is not an exaggeration, especially the temperature at night is even lower. If you have not brought warm clothes, try to rent a coat at the foot of the mountain, as it is more expensive (and looks very dirty) to rent one at the summit. Sunrise on Mount Tai. Many people climb Mount Tai just to see the sunrise, so there are two options for climbing: one is to start climbing during the day, spend the night on the mountain, and then watch the sunrise early the next morning; the other is to start climbing in the evening, and then descend the mountain after watching the sunrise. Descending the mountain. As the saying goes: it's easy to go up the mountain but hard to come down. After three or four hours of climbing, you can choose to take the cable car when descending to experience a different scenery, and be sure to choose the appropriate cableway. Tickets. The price of Mount Tai tickets varies according to the off-peak season, with 100 yuan per person in the off-season and 125 yuan per person in the peak season (an additional 2 yuan insurance fee is charged).
