Morioka Hakuryu Fried Noodles (Aji no Mise Morioka Jajamen Hakuryu) is a long-established restaurant with over 60 years of history.

We visited the main store, which is near Morioka Castle Park (Iwate Park), close to Sakurayama Shrine. The store is not very spacious and has the atmosphere of a small Japanese restaurant. Instructions for having egg drop soup after eating noodles with soybean paste: leave some noodles on the plate, beat an egg from the table into the plate, and then give it to the store owner, who will add hot soup, soybean paste and green onions. In this way, you will have a bowl of stomach-warming egg drop soup after the meal.
