[Miyakojima] A step ahead of Okinawa Food: Miyako Parlor Haisai where you can drink Tsumande

One of the best parts of traveling is eating at your destination. I recommend Miyako Parlor Haisai for a night out in Miyakojima. It seems to be a popular izakaya, and although I made a reservation, I was only able to reserve a seat a little later. The only disappointment was that the most popular dish, "Katsuo wo Fisherman Darede," was not available that day. However, the quality and volume of the food, and the variety of drinks that give you a taste of Miyakojima, made it a worthwhile visit. Everything was delicious, and the tuna tartare yukke had no raw fishy smell at all, and the sticky tuna served on a baguette was a dish that went well with alcohol. Also, although it seemed to be a limited-time menu, the grilled jimami tofu with sesame sauce was the most delicious jimami tofu I have ever eaten. The bonito oil soba and rafute pork we had at the end of the meal had a nice aroma of bonito oil made from Miyakobushi and rice oil, and were very filling and delicious. Not only the food, but also the drinks are carefully selected, making your dinner in Miyakojima a memorable one. Good value for money, highly recommended!
