A journey to find an early spring at Kawazu cherry blossoms on Miura Beach

I couldn't go at all because of the corona pandemic, so this is a record from before the corona pandemic. I went to see the Kawazu cherry blossoms at Miura Kaigan Station in Kanagawa Prefecture. Until then, I would go to Shizuoka Prefecture every year to see the Kawazu cherry blossoms, but I heard that there is a place to see them in the Kanto region, so I discovered this place. The cherry blossom festival seems to start around early February, and there were many stalls lined up near the cherry blossoms, and I was able to buy fresh vegetables. The Bettara Pickles in particular were delicious, and once you've tried the Bettara Pickles from this stall, you won't be able to eat supermarket pickles at all. The radishes and cabbages were also big and cheap! And best of all, it's like a dream to be able to buy Romanesco for around 100 yen! Ah, I've gotten a little far from the cherry blossoms. The Kawazu cherry blossoms line the train tracks, and the yellow rape blossoms at the bottom were in full bloom and very beautiful! I walked endlessly under the Kawazu cherry blossoms, and at the end of the walk, I found a cafe. I had warm amazake and pancakes with strawberries on top, and the strawberries were super sweet!! The strawberries were so delicious that I asked where they were from and it turned out to be from "Ichigo House Nishiwaki". I looked up and called to buy some, but it seems they were already sold out and only available by reservation. I'm not sure about weekdays, but it seems like it's best to make a reservation on weekends. Finally, we went to Mahoroba Mines Miura in search of a day spa. There were some unique ornaments lined up in front of the entrance... We only used the bath, but they also have a meal set, so if you're staying for a while, it might be better to get a set.
