After a refreshing jog around Coco Cabana, we decided to take our mini adventure to the next level — literally! Just a short walk away stood Miri City Hall, and someone whispered, “Sunset from the rooftop hits different.” We had to see it for ourselves — and wow, they weren’t wrong! 📍 Location: Miri City Hall (Dewan Bandaraya Miri) — right near Coco Cabana, walkable and perfect for winding down after a seaside stroll. ✨ What Makes It Special: • Modern Architecture with a View! The building itself is sleek and futuristic, but the real magic happens when you head to the roof level. • 360° views of Miri city, the coastline, and the South China Sea — all bathed in golden-hour glow. • Peaceful Atmosphere — not crowded, very chill. We even saw couples, joggers, and a few photography enthusiasts soaking in the view. • Perfect photo ops with Coco Cabana’s lighthouse in the distance and the city skyline on the other. • A great way to end a walk, jog, or even a lazy afternoon. 💡 Travel Tips: • Come about 30–45 minutes before sunset to enjoy the changing skies. • Bring water if you’re coming from a jog (especially in Miri’s humid weather!). • The rooftop area is open and breezy, but wear sunscreen if you’re going up before 6 PM. • It’s FREE to visit, which makes it even better! 🧡 Final Thoughts: Miri City Hall might sound like “just a building,” but this one hides a secret sky-level gem.
