Normally, spring water from a water source has a water pump where you can fill it up or drink it, but here you can drink it directly from the pond. That's how clear and beautiful it is. Shirakawa Yoshimi Shrine is enshrined next to the pond, and the deity enshrined is the god of water. The area up to the torii gate is free, but from the torii gate to the water source, 100 yen is required as an environmental conservation amount.
