The rooftop garden, "Water Terrace," is inspired by the flow of the Tone River. The babbling waters reflecting nature are a soothing spot. The hot springs are gentle on the skin. Indulge in soaking in one of three large baths. At the "KAWATONE" dining buffet, Enjoy the chefs' freshly cut, grilled, and fried dishes. The menu features seasonal dishes, local vegetables, and sausages from the roadside station "Kawaba Denen Plaza." This buffet is only available in the morning. For dinner, we opted for a plan that included a ¥4,500 voucher at a nearby restaurant. "Undeterred by the Rain" (Ame ni mo Makezu). The restaurant's name comes from the opening line of Kenji Miyazawa's famous poem. Enjoy delicious food, drinks, and conversation... Their signature dish is barley pork served in a dashi broth adapted from soba broth. It was refreshing and incredibly delicious. Finish off with ramen! The pork and vegetable broth was delicious! It's that time of year when I start to crave hotpot. I thought I'd try it at home. They also sell freshly baked bread, which is super popular! I pre-ordered it the day before and it was baked fresh that morning. I ate it when I got home and it was absolutely delicious.
