Milan, Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie

#September2025 My most anticipated moment in Milan is entering the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie and seeing Leonardo da Vinci's monumental masterpiece, The Last Supper, in person 🍷🍞. Due to the fragility of the frescoes, the number of visitors allowed per session is limited, and you'll have to pass through a series of compartments before entering. The waiting only adds to the sacred feeling 🙏. When the doors open and the painting is right before your eyes, it's a truly thrilling experience. The expressions of Jesus and the twelve disciples are so detailed they take your breath away, as if time has stood still ⏳. ⚠️ A reminder: tickets for this are incredibly hard to get, so be sure to book online early! The thrill of seeing it in person is definitely worth the wait.
