Milan – A Fashion City with More Than Just Luxury Malls When it comes to Milan, many people might think of brand names, shopping, and world-class runways. But let me tell you that this city has more than that! When I visited, I found that Milan is a city full of stunning architecture, romantic atmospheres, and chic cafes that you must visit! Let’s start our trip at the Duomo di Milano, a magnificent church that is the icon of the city. I must say that from the pictures it is beautiful, but in reality it is even more eerie! The details on the church are amazing. It took hundreds of years to build. I recommend going up to the rooftop to see the city from above. It feels great! Then, after walking just a few steps, you will arrive at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, an old and extremely luxurious shopping mall. Even if you are not here to shop, you still have to stop by because the glass ceiling design here is so extravagant. There is also a legendary old coffee shop called Caffè Biffi, where coffee lovers must try an espresso. Art lovers must not miss The Last Supper, a world-class painting by Leonardo da Vinci in the Santa Maria delle Grazie church. The real thing is magnificent and has amazing details. However, you must book tickets in advance. Because it's always crowded! In the evening, Da would like to take you to walk around Navigli District, a canal-side area with many cute restaurants and bars. The atmosphere is super chill, especially when the sun goes down. I recommend trying Aperitivo, which is Milan's style of eating and drinking, where you order a drink and get a full complement of snacks. End the trip by stopping by San Siro Stadium, home of AC Milan and Inter Milan. For football fans, the atmosphere at this stadium is absolutely intense!
