Nogizaki Trail

#台湾地方游 The Nanzhuang Historic Building is a very old trail. It was built in 1897 by General Nogi Maresuke. He inspected the site and found that there was a height difference, so he paved the stairs with stone slabs for students and residents to walk conveniently. Going up along Nogizaki is Nanzhuang Elementary School. We are grateful to General Nogi for building this saki. Saki means stairs on a slope. Walking on this ancient staircase and the story of the origin of the staircase is very touching. It feels special to walk on the trail built by the kindness of ancient people.
