Address: No. 172, South Section of Changhong Avenue, Fucheng District, Mianyang City Mianyang 126 Cultural and Creative Park, formerly the old factory area of the Ninth Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and other electronic industries. This area was initially named 'Unit 126 of the Chengzi', abbreviated as '126', and has been referred to as such by the public to this day. In 2013, drawing on the advanced experience of industrial relics such as Beijing's '798' and Chengdu's East District Music Park, the Ninth Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and Wansheng Tourism Development Co., Ltd. jointly created the '126 Cultural and Creative Industry Park', forming the current Mianyang 126 Cultural and Creative Park. The origin of this name reflects the profound historical background and industrial heritage of the area. After the overall relocation of the original Ninth Research Institute, hundreds of acres of garden office areas and a large number of red brick buildings were left behind. These buildings and the park have become a cultural and creative park that combines art and connotation. The original Ninth Research Institute was initially the 126th Unit of the Chengdu Military Region of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Therefore, naming it the 126 Cultural and Creative Park is not only a commemoration of its history but also an inheritance and promotion of its cultural value.
