Holy Trinity Monastery (Meteora)

#mytraveldiary Among Meteora’s monasteries, the Holy Trinity Monastery was my favorite. Perched on a steep, isolated rock, it looked almost impossible to reach. The climb up hundreds of steps carved into the cliff was challenging, but the reward was spectacular. Inside, I found a small chapel adorned with frescoes, while outside the panoramic views stretched endlessly across the Thessalian plain. The silence was profound, broken only by birds and the wind. Standing there, I understood why monks sought such remote heights for prayer—it felt like being closer to heaven. 🪨⛪ #mytraveldiary
