Menton, the city of lemons

A city in southeastern France, near the border with Italy 🇫🇷 Famous for its lemons, it is also known as the "Lemon Town" and is a popular tourist destination on the Cote d'Azur. Because it is located on the southeastern border of France, you can enter Italy immediately without having to go through immigration procedures. Even now, not only do many Italians live in Menton, but they also cross the border to work and run shops. You often hear Italian in the town, so it feels like you're in Italy! It's a nice change of pace 😄 Every February, the Lemon Festival is held, and the entire town is filled with a parade of giant floats and objects made of citrus fruits such as lemons and oranges 🍋
