All of the shops and residences throughout the old quarter of the city have been subsequently restored to their former glory, thus making this historical city a living museum.

The Heesan Chatei is always be my favourite hang out place with friends while visiting Melaka. I love the cafe atmosphere: spacious, cozy and chic interior design with warm atmosphere. The staff were courteous and provide prompt service.
The cafe serve Cheese tea series, Cold Brew series, Fruit tea series, Soda Fruit tea series, Milky Pearl series, Iced Smoothies series and Snacks like Truffle Fries & Sweet Potato Balls.
My favourite drinks:
🥤Grapefruit Tea is refreshing and thirst quenching.
🧋Cheese Avocado Smoothie is tasteful and so puree!!!
Price wise: RM10 - RM20 per pax.

Stadthuys Square (Dutch Square or Red Square) is their iconic place where you just need to take pictures there.
Getting There - From Kuala Lumpur, the bus costs $4 and takes 3 hours, and a rental car costs $37 for the 2-hour drive. It’s also accessible by bus for $27 from Singapore, which is 6 hours away.

Take a wall-mural canal cruise through the city of Melaka! The hand painted arts are incredibly done! Each building is painted in a different style or portrays a different message or theme. These buildings often are the locations of restaurants or coffee shops. The canal is situated next to China town that is a few minutes’ walk from the pier.
Afterwards, take a trip to the coast where you can see a unique sight of the seaside Mosque. White as snow during the day and beautifully lit up at night, it is a have-to-visit location!
🎟️Tips: Check the opening times of the mosque as it is closed for some hours for religious practices and tourists are not permitted to enter.

Jonker Street is also popular as the Jonker Walk, this place is the main street of Chinatown, Melaka. It is popular for the shops selling clothes, antiques and souvenirs, apart from being a major street food hub.
The bustling Jonker Street is not just about delicious food, artistic creations and bargaining, but it also has a number of attractions in and around it. The numerous museums, temples and mosques are in this area.

1. Discover Melaka’s Riverside Street Art and historical building. Walking by the riverbank in the morning or evening time, or else joins the river cruise. A memorable experience to soak in the history and quaint streets in Melaka!
2. Melaka has an interesting colonial history, you can still see some of the beautiful colonizers’ architectural remnants in the city, such as St. Paul’s Church by the Portuguese and the Red Square by Dutch, which includes the iconic red-painted Christ Church and Stadhuys. Not forgetting the fasinated Jonker Street!
3. The ethnic groups in Melaka compose of Chinese, Indians, Malays, and Peranakans (mixed ethnicities, usually of Chinese & Malay descent), plus Kristangs (mixed ethnicities of Portuguese & Indian/Malay descent). This diversity is clearly reflected in the Malaccan food scene, absolutely a food heaven for foodies!
Once you arrive in Melaka, almost everything can be done on foot as all the main landmarks are within walking distance of each other. For those sights that are further away (such as Melaka Straits Mosque or Portuguese Settlement), just jump on a trishaw for an authentic Malacca experience, cycle by bike, or take a Grab taxi.

Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka location: T2-4, The Shore @ Melaka River, Jalan Persisiran Bunga Raya, 75300 Malacca.
This 4-star hotel located by the beautiful riverside of Melaka River and facing one of the historical attritions: Kampung Morten (a traditional Malay village). It has gorgeous view especially in the evening. Beneath the hotel is a shopping mall, surrounding there are various shops such as eateries, kopitiams and grocery shops, adding convenience for visitors.
The accommodation is spacious, clean and comfortable with Android TV, minibars, tea and coffeemaking equipment. Bathrooms were upgraded and nice too. There's a bright restaurant with river views, along with a polished rooftop bar on the 30th floor. The variety of options available at the buffet breakfast was impressive and most of the food were scrumptious. Additional amenities include 2 outdoor pools, a kids' pool and a gym. Covered parking is available.
Overall, our stay was wonderful and we'd definitely consider returning for our next trip to Melaka.

🌟 My personal favourite crepe; tiramisu affair - As an Malaysian, a good dessert means it was not too sweet. They claimed it has bold flavours of cocoa and espresso but I do not think it was that ‘bold’ but could be because I had a strong coffee with mine.
🌟 As for coffee I chose my latte with palm sugar, I am a person interested in a little twist in my food/ drink. Coffee was strong which I like but probably a bit sweet for my taste. Should have mention to reduce the sweetness when I ordered earlier.
🌟 Cafe vibes; tropical garden vibes, decorated with wooden furniture. The area is small but few types of setting from medium group to smaller group. Wc is available at the back of the cafe.

This time i visit Melaka Street Art that has so many beautiful Colorful Murals in this area. This street is not too far from the city centre of Malacca City (near Jonker Street).
Similar to Penang, the street art in Malacca is spread around the street and small alleys mostly near Jonker Street and along the river through the city. Each artwork in here has different unique styles.

The Old Station Cafe is a hidden gem cafe in Malacca City. The Old Station Cafe is located in the Old Station Buildings right in the heart of Longridge. They offers a breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc.
I came here in the afternoon to enjoy a cup of their coffee. The coffee was good and good pairs with their toast. The price of their food and beverages also not expensive.
I like how they design the cafe, so aesthetic and insta-worthy. The cup and the plates for the food also so beautiful. I recommend you to visit this cafe when you are in Malacca.
PS; They gave infused water, candy, and chocolate for free!🥰
