Museum House

Dar El Bacha is located at Dar El Bacha, Rue Fatima Zahra, Marrakech, 40000, it is open from Tuesday to Sunday, closed on Monday from 1000-1800. It was built in 1910 by Thami El Glaoui which was the most powerful political figure of the Moroccan south under French rule. Dar El Bacha represents a beautiful example of Moroccan architecture with fountains and orange trees in the courtyard, traditional seating area and hammam. The museum also holds temporary exhibits highlighting the different facets of Moroccan culture. Ceilings covered in colorful zellij mosaics and columns painted with natural pigments. A little tip from me, if you intend to visit the coffee shop, go and reserve the slot 1st, then continue your touring on the museum.
