Fangji Island, located in Dianbai District, Maoming City, is the largest island among the 23 islands in Dianbai. Fangji Island has beautiful scenery, various stone landscapes, beaches, rocks, trees, sunshine and sea water. It's also nice to come here for a day trip. Legend has it that whenever fishermen passed by the island while fishing, they would release a chicken onto the island to pray for a safe journey at sea and a full warehouse of fish and shrimp, hence the name Fangji Island.
