🌴 Manila: A City of Contrasts and Culture 🌴

Manila, the bustling capital of the Philippines, is where history, culture, and modern energy come together. From centuries-old Spanish walls to vibrant street life and gleaming skyscrapers, every corner of Manila tells a different story. ✨ Highlights from my trip: • 🏰 Intramuros — the historic walled city, with cobblestone streets, Fort Santiago, and San Agustin Church. • 🌅 Manila Bay Sunset — one of the world’s most beautiful sunsets, painting the horizon in fiery gold and pink. • 🛍️ Binondo — the world’s oldest Chinatown, buzzing with markets and authentic street food. • 🎶 Roxas Boulevard & Nightlife — music, lights, and the hum of the city that never seems to rest. 📍 Best time to visit: November–April, during the dry season when the skies are clear and perfect for exploring. 💫 Manila is more than just a stopover — it’s a gateway to culture, flavor, and unforgettable moments. #postandearn #niche

Fort Santiago

📍Fort Santiago Fort Santiago in Manila, Philippines, is a historic fortress located in the Intramuros district. Built during the Spanish colonial period in the late 16th century, it served as an important military base for defending Manila. Surrounded by thick stone walls and a moat, barracks and warehouses remain, conveying the atmosphere of the time. It also bears a tragic history, having been used as a Japanese military facility during World War II and interned many people. It is also known as the place where Philippine national hero Jose Rizal was imprisoned before his execution. It is now a tourist attraction, with tickets costing around 200 yen. If you're visiting Manila, be sure to check it out! #TravelWithPochiKatsu
