It is considered as Ha Long on land. But because it is located near famous tourist destinations such as Ban Lac Mai Chau, Moc Chau Son La, Ba Khan is also considered a sleeping paradise. Anyway, tourism here is not yet developed much. ✅ WHERE IS BA KHAN TOURISM? Ba Khan is a commune in Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province. Located at the foot of Thung Khe pass (or Da Trang). 140km from Hanoi, 70km from Hoa Binh city. There are only a few eco-tourism destinations in Ba Khan, quite a few because this road was only built a few years ago. Moreover, as I said above, because it is located near famous tourist areas, most people will choose to stay in Ban Lac Mai Chau more, and then will only choose Ba Khan as a stop to sightsee. ✅ WHAT TO DO IN BA KHAN ?? A land of majestic natural beauty that is still very wild. Just go out here and you will know: Empty, desolate... Ba Khan is completely suitable for those who want to relax, experience travel, community travel and eco-tourism back to nature. Like to see the scenery with enough mountains, enough rivers, enough clouds and watch the sunset, sunrise. Importantly, the population is sparse, there are no people, no factories, extremely fresh. ✅ HOW TO GO TO BA KHAN? There are many ways to get here so there will be many options for you. 🚌 Go to Ba Khan by bus: 🔹🔹 Method 1: If traveling by bus from Hanoi, you can catch a bus at Yen Nghia or My Dinh bus station. The popular bus route to Ba Khan is Hanoi - Son La with a ticket price of about 100,000 VND/person (because you get off along the way, the ticket price is only like that). The car will pass the Phu Cuong market intersection - Tan Lac district. The market intersection is right at the foot, before going up the slope to Thung Khe pass. Then you can take a taxi or motorbike taxi to Ba Khan about 17km. Remember to negotiate the price in advance. 🔹🔹 Method 2: Take the resort's private bus, this is probably the easiest. You just need to find, contact and book a room at the resort in Ba Khan. There are only 2 resorts here, not many choices for you. 🚗🛵 Go to Ba Khan by private car: 🔹🔹 Route 1: From Hanoi - Hoa Binh. Follow National Highway 6, through Hoa Binh city, and go another 50km to the foot of Thung Khe pass in Phu Cuong commune, on the right hand side there will be a milestone indicating 17km to Ba Khan. ✅ EXPENSES If not counting gas and transportation costs, our family will spend less than 2 million/person. Of which, the room fee is 1,500,000 VND, free breakfast, the remaining 2 meals are about 500 to 600,000 VND each, and the food is so full that you can't finish it all. The rest is snacks and drinks.
