Mae Kampong, no matter how many times I go, I never get bored.

The place we visit most often when we visit Chiang Mai is undoubtedly Mae Kampong Village, a popular spot that almost everyone knows about. We love visiting Mae Kampong because of its unique charm, simple beauty, and its location in the heart of nature, with its forests, mountains, waterfalls, and streams. This creates a wonderful atmosphere, cool all year round, and incredibly cold in winter. Mae Kampong Village is a small village nestled in a vast forest over 100 years old. The village offers homestays, restaurants, and cafes where you can enjoy drinks and the view, as well as local cuisine. Our favorite dish every time we visit is the grilled bee roe with raw eggs, which is incredibly delicious.
