Sutongpe Bridge Another easy-to-travel and cool check-in spot is the wooden bridge that stretches across the green rice fields during the rainy season. It holds the record for being the longest bamboo bridge in Thailand. This bridge was created because of the faith and cooperation of monks and local villagers who worked together to build the bridge across the rice fields to facilitate connecting the temple with the village so that it is easier to walk. Sutongpe is a Shan language that means a wish that comes true. Therefore, it is believed that if you stand in the middle of this bridge and pray for something, your wish will come true.
