The establishment of Plaza de Oriente can be traced back to the Joseph Bonaparte period in the early 19th century. After going through several historical stages, it has now become one of the most representative squares in Madrid. On one side of the Royal Theater, there are small semicircular bars where visitors can taste authentic Spanish food and drinks and experience the rich cultural atmosphere.
