The Leisure Area of Templo Hong Kung is located in Largo do Pagode do Bazar, the open space facing the Hong Kung Temple that was constructed in 1860. The spacious stone-paved square used to be a dock with busy freight traffic, and it was very crowded and surrounded by shops and stalls of different sorts in the past before land reclamation and existence of tall buildings. The leisure area has benches and seats for the public to spend their leisure time.
