Took my daughter to stay at Grand Lisboa Palace and explored the Alice Green Maze

Yesterday, I brought my daughter to Grand Lisboa Palace in Macau to celebrate her birthday, and it was absolutely worth it! She was so happy that her face was practically glowing, and the whole trip was incredibly smooth and enjoyable. Shuttle Bus 🚗: After crossing the Gongbei border, turn left and walk 100 meters to find the free Grand Lisboa Palace shuttle bus (with WiFi). The bus takes you directly to the North Gate. Room: Check-in at the East Wing was unbelievably fast! When we opened the door to our Garden View Twin Room, wow! The window directly overlooked the Jardim Secreto Garden 🌳, with its European-style architecture and maze—it was as picturesque as a painting! The twin beds were so spacious that my daughter could roll around freely. The minibar was complimentary 🥤! And here’s the highlight 🎂! I had emailed them in advance about my daughter’s birthday. When we returned to the room at night, the turndown service was already done! On the table were a chocolate cake, Portuguese egg tarts, and a fruit platter! My daughter’s eyes lit up as she blew out the little candle and made a wish—it was such a magical moment 💯. Jardim Secreto: The moment my daughter saw the garden outside the window, she couldn’t sit still and insisted on exploring! On the 3rd floor, the Jardim Secreto Garden 🐰 features various Alice in Wonderland-themed decorations. The maze was super dreamy, and my daughter had to take photos 📸 at every corner—she was completely enchanted! Every random shot looked like a princess photo. Shopping: CDF Duty-Free Store: Located on the first floor, it has a good selection of skincare and makeup brands, and the La Mer gift sets were reasonably priced. New Yaohan NY8: 🛒 The supermarket was fantastic! They had everything from Macau specialty souvenirs to snacks and daily necessities. 🤩 Labubu-themed pop-up store: The decorations were super cute, with so many photo spots that we couldn’t capture them all. My daughter was thrilled. 🍕 Dinner: Mamma Pizza: The open kitchen allowed us to watch the chefs 👨🍳 knead dough, toss pizzas, and bake them in a large oven 🔥! The Margherita pizza was so cheesy that it stretched into strings! Even my daughter, who usually doesn’t like pizza, devoured two big slices! The melon with prosciutto 🍈 was a delightful mix of sweet and savory—surprisingly delicious! 🍵 Breakfast: Grand Lisboa Palace Dim Sum Restaurant: As a Cantonese, I was ecstatic! 💥 They even had dim sum carts! A young waiter pushed the cart and introduced the dim sum in a slightly operatic Cantonese tone: "Beef balls, chicken feet" 🎭—it instantly brought back childhood memories! 🌟 The baked quail pie is a must-try! The flaky crust encased a filling of meat and quail egg, bursting with flavor in every bite—absolutely stunning! Day 2 on the Peninsula: From the North Gate, we took the shuttle 🚌 to Grand Lisboa and walked 15 minutes along Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro to Senado Square. When we got hungry, we headed to the food haven at Rua da Felicidade! ✨ Sam’s Fuel Station: The bird’s nest milk tea made with Hokkaido milk was rich and silky. 🍜 Phoenix Court’s Three Treasures: The noodles were generously topped with lotus root patties, fish cakes, and fermented bean curd pork ribs—all incredibly flavorful. 🧀 Goat Bakers: The cheese flower cup was rich and creamy, with every bite feeling like a warm hug. 🚌 Travel Tips: The free shuttle buses are lifesavers! They make it super convenient to get to Grand Lisboa (close to Ruins of St. Paul’s) and Taipa Old Town (Rua do Cunha, Taipa Houses-Museum).
