Climbing up the winding path, the breeze from Guia Hill gently caresses my face, as if leading me into a distant history. The Guia Fortress and Lighthouse stand quietly at the top of the hill, silently watching over the vicissitudes and prosperity of this land. The stone walls of the fortress are full of traces of time, and the rough texture under my fingertips seems to allow me to touch the scenes of past battles. The white tower of the lighthouse stands out against the blue sky, it is the oldest existing Western-style lighthouse in China, witnessing countless safe returns from perilous voyages. Standing next to the lighthouse, the view of Macau unfolds before my eyes, where the modernity of the city and the vastness of the sea intertwine, evoking a sense of awe. As dusk falls, the light of the lighthouse becomes a footnote of history, bringing hope to those sailing afar. At this moment, I seem to have become a watcher too, gazing into the future with this ancient mountain peak, guarding the tranquility and resilience in my heart.
