Climb up the Mount Fortress - a relic of Macau's coastal defense

The Macau Fortress is a place full of historical significance and a tourist attraction that can bring people a profound experience. This fort has a profound historical heritage and is an important part of Macau's historic center. When I stepped onto the Macau Fortress, I was deeply attracted by this magnificent building. The Fort was once the altar of St. Paul's College Church and was later used to guard against pirates. This building shows the military defense style of the time. Climbing up the Macau Fort, you can overlook the Macau Peninsula and the scenery is very spectacular. Standing on the fort, you can see Macau’s famous attractions, such as the Ruins of St. Paul’s and Ponte 16. Overall, this visit to the Macau Fort allowed me to deeply experience the history and culture of Macau.
