🌟 If you only have one day to visit Lyon, you must not miss these must-see landmarks. Follow my footsteps and start this wonderful journey together! 🕍 Notre-Dame de Fourvière Our first stop in the morning was the Notre-Dame de Fourvière. This church is located on Fourvière Hill and is one of the landmarks of Lyon. The carvings and murals inside the church are very exquisite, and from the platform outside the church you can overlook the beautiful scenery of the entire Lyon city. It is recommended to arrive early, not only to avoid the crowds, but also to enjoy the stunning views of the city in the morning light. 🕍 Lyon Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Jean Baptiste) Next, we headed to Lyon Cathedral. The church is famous for its unique Gothic architectural style and its solemn and magnificent appearance. When you enter the church, you will feel a peaceful and sacred atmosphere, and the exquisite stained glass windows will make you linger. Don’t forget to take a few photos in the square in front of the church; this is a paradise for photography enthusiasts! 🕍 Vieux Lyon It's lunch time and we come to Vieux Lyon. This area is full of medieval charm, and the ancient streets and buildings seem to take you back hundreds of years. Take a stroll here and you'll find many quirky little restaurants and cafes. Why not choose an outdoor café and enjoy an authentic Lyonnais meal, such as the famous Lyonnais stew (Pot-au-feu). 🕍 Saône River After dinner, take a stroll along the Saône River and feel the tranquility and vitality that this river brings to Lyon. There are many green areas and leisure facilities along the river, which is perfect for walking or cycling. If the weather is good, you can also see the sunlight shining on the river, which is simply beautiful! 🕍 Fontaine Bartholdi You can see the Bartholdi Fountain not far along the Saône River.
