Guling Street Historical and Cultural District of Lushan

Guling Town is located on the top of Mount Lu and has a history of over 100 years. It is said that the town was named by a British missionary because the shape of the ridge resembles a bull, and it has become a holy place for summer retreats. The town is well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. Due to the booming tourism industry, Guling Street is bustling all year round with crowds of tourists and heavy traffic. There are numerous shops, hotels, schools, hospitals, and some buses even go to nearby attractions. The streets in the scenic area are narrow, and self-driving up the mountain is generally not allowed. Visitors can park their cars at the parking lot at the foot of the mountain and take a shuttle bus to the top, which is more convenient for staying overnight. The entrance fee for the Lushan Scenic Area is 160 yuan, with free or discounted admission for special populations. Sometimes there are free admission promotions in March. The sightseeing bus costs 70 yuan per person, and the Lushan Scenic Area is vast with many attractions. The tickets for the entrance and the sightseeing bus are valid for 7 days.
