As a newly opened guesthouse, it directly touched my heart💘. The location is absolutely perfect📍, right on the pedestrian street of Luoyang's old town, just a few minutes' walk to Luoyi Ancient City and Lijingmen. Opening the window reveals quaint, traditional streets, and downstairs is a bustling snack street full of local flavor. After enjoying the night view, you can easily "nest" back in your cozy little home~ As soon as you enter the hotel, the courtyard design instantly transports you back in time, full of Chinese-style atmosphere📸! The tatami room I booked is super cozy, with smart controls that are very convenient—you can adjust the lights and air conditioning just by speaking. The public area also has a stylish coffee bar☕, and the shared space is perfect for taking photos and checking in with your besties. The owner is as warm as family👩‍❤️‍👩, patiently recommending delicious food and the laundry room is very thoughtful! Although it’s in a busy area, it’s very quiet at night. Stepping into the ancient city feels like opening a time capsule, with red walls, black tiles, flying eaves, and dougong brackets—every shot is a masterpiece📷. Rent a stunning Hanfu👘 and be a “runaway princess” for a day. I recommend the makeup and styling shops inside the scenic area; the hairstyles and accessories are exquisite! Stroll along the stone-paved roads, check in at Wenfeng Tower and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and feel the collision of history and modernity💥. Noon: Taste the delicious food of Luoyang Hungry from walking? There are so many delicious foods near the hotel that it’s hard to choose🍜! Highly recommend Nanguan Small Bowl Beef Meatball Soup—the beef is tender, the meatballs crispy, and dipping them in fried dough strips is super satisfying! Also, the super cheap pan-fried buns have golden crispy skins, and biting into one releases a burst of juice. You can get full for just over 10 RMB per person~ Afternoon: Leisurely walk to Lijingmen, feel the charm of the ancient capital After a short rest, slowly walk to Lijingmen, a landmark building of Luoyang. There’s a saying, “If you don’t visit Lijingmen, you’ve wasted your trip to Luoyang.” Climb the city tower to overlook the old cityscape🏙️; the bricks and tiles on the city wall seem to tell stories of the past. The old street under the city gate is bustling with various cultural and creative shops and specialty snacks. Remember to bring some peony cakes and Tang Sancai small ornaments as souvenirs🎁! Evening: Night tour of Luoyi, encounter dreamy light and shadow As night falls, Luoyi Ancient City lights up with a “light show” mode🌌. Remember to book in advance to avoid waiting~ Afternoon: Check in at White Horse Temple, feel Buddhist culture After lunch, take a taxi to White Horse Temple, China’s first ancient temple, known as the “source of Buddhism” and “ancestral temple.” With red walls, green trees, and curling incense smoke, the exotic style of the Buddhist halls is unique and great for photos📷! Walk quietly inside the temple and feel the peace and serenity of the soul. The two-day, one-night trip to Luoyang is over.
