A Taste of the New Year: Luoyang Jiuzhou Pool Lantern Festival

🌠 Jiuzhou Pool is located in Xigong District, Luoyang, Henan Province. It is named after its resemblance to the Jiuzhou of the East China Sea. It was built in the Sui Dynasty as an imperial garden for ancient emperors, concubines, princesses, and princes to live and feast in. 🌅 Jiuzhou Pool is characterized by its wide waters and lack of mountains. The garden is built on flat ground and features large water landscapes, with the Yaoguang Hall as the main building. 🎇 During the Spring Festival, Jiuzhou Pool is the main venue for the Shendu Lantern Festival.
