Luoyang Guanlin

In the 25th year of Jian'an (220 AD), the head of Guan Yu was buried in Luoyang, nearly 2,000 years ago. In the 5th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1666), this place was given the title of "Guan Sheng Emperor's Forest of Loyalty and Courage", and Guanlin became the highest-ranking temple among the Guan Temples in China and abroad. Guanlin is the only sacred place in China where the forest and temple are dedicated to Guan Gong. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit, a 4A-level tourist attraction, a dual application unit for the World Cultural Heritage "Wanli Tea Road" and "Guan Sheng Cultural Relics", and a national intangible cultural heritage site of "Guan Gong Belief and Customs".
