Henan Trip - Luoyang Yangzigou

Late autumn in Yangzigou. If Mount Laojun brings a grand feast and a surge of excitement like a thousand horses galloping, then Yangzigou, which comes into view, is a delightful trickling stream, a small and exquisite beauty that makes my heart flutter. It's very quiet. So quiet that it leaves you speechless. Mountains, trees, grass, rocks, white clouds, all so still as if they were a vividly colored oil painting. Sunlight filters through the layers of red, yellow, and green leaves of the mountains, casting down. The sky above is a dazzling blue that makes one envious. The gurgling water in the mountain stream sparkles with an unimaginable visual impact, displaying a myriad of colors, an astonishing blue, and a bold green. The entire Yangzigou exudes the charm of autumn, the flamboyance of autumn, the tranquility of autumn, and the brilliance of autumn. I thought autumn was fleeting, but I know that even if it is short-lived, autumn still uses its power to paint this entire forest, presenting the most beautiful aspect of nature, stirring strength in your weary heart. And years later, I will still remember the colors that forest brought me that day, just like the unforgettable memory of seeing Monet's garden. I think, coming here, is so worthwhile. There aren't many people. In small groups, laughing softly, children standing by the river counting small fish, and the bolder ones climbing halfway up the hill. A father uses a branch to scare the child to come down quickly, but the four-year-old boy climbs even more nimbly with a grin. What an adorable age, the joy of running wild surpasses the boredom at home. The colors of the forest provide the most impactful natural classroom for the children, letting them truly see what color autumn is, what a real autumn valley with mountains, water, fish, trees, blue sky, white clouds, and small waterfalls looks like. This is more intuitive than any textbook. No need to imagine, truly remember. Maybe they won't remember a specific day they came, but the rich colors absorbed by their hearts and vision, subtly and silently penetrating deep within, how could they forget? The unintentional gains are the harvest. Autumn is thick. Autumn leaves are red. Autumn covers the mountains. Autumn water is cold.
